Cooking Instructions: In-the-Bird Cooking (Stuffs approximately 16 pounds of poultry): 1. In a small skillet, melt 2/3 cup butter or margarine. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine Stuffing Mix, melted butter/margarine, and 3 cups hot water. Toss gently with a fork to blend evenly. 3. Cover bowl and let stand 5 minutes before using. 4. Pack lightly into poultry cavity and roast according to poultry wrapper. (Do not stuff bird until ready to roast.) Ready in just 5 minutes. Approximate No. of Servings: 7: 1-3/4 cups water, 1/3 cup butter or margarine, 1/3 cup celery, onions, etc. (optional), half package Stuffing Mix; 14: 4 cups water, 2/3 butter or margarine, 2/3 cup celery, onions, etc. (optional), full package Stuffing Mix. Saucepan: 1. In a medium saucepan, bring water and butter/margarine to a boil. 2. Stir in Stuffing Mix, cover, and remove from heat. 3. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Microwave (Microwave ovens vary. Cooking time is approximate): 1. Combine Stuffing Mix, water and butter/margarine in microwave-safe bowl. 2. Cover bowl and microwave on high for 5-6 minutes. 3. Fluff with fork before serving. Casserole-Style Stuffing: For a delicious, crisper stuffing that's cooked outside the bird - prepare desired number of servings as described above. Then spoon into a lightly-greased casserole, cover, and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. To customize your stuffing, add chopped celery, onions, mushrooms, pine nuts, or any other ingredient you think would be a great addition to Bell's Traditional Stuffing.
