Get Cooking: This rice is raw and must be cooked to unlock its deliciousness. 1.Using a fine mesh sieve, rinse entire bag of rice under cold water for 1-2 minutes and drain. 2. Combine rice, 2-1/4 cups water or broth, and 1 Tbsp. butter or oil (optional, but very tasty) in a 2 qt. saucepan and bring to a boil. 3. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook for 45-50 minutes. 4. With lid on, remove from heat and let steam for 10 minutes. Fluff it up with a fork and dig in. Serves 4-5. Tip: If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, no big deal! Try adding 1-2 Tbsp. water and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes. Refrigerate recommended for extended shell life.
